Here are some reasons why you should question Citron Research and not simply give a knee-jerk reaction

In no particular order and without a great deal of commentary. For a full article please see my piece that will publish on Wednesday at TheStreet.

Palo Alto Networks Remains In Bullish Trend - Buy The Dip

Stock Tickers

Palo Alto Networks (PANW) fell over 22% after reporting earnings that beat, with weak forward guidance.

The second quarter report placed earnings at $0.63 per share with revenue toping $422 million. All in all, a pretty good report, and regardless, not enough to justify the selling pressure.

The catalyst for selling is two-fold and often gets lost in the news. Of course, the forward guidance was weak. The Palo Alto Networks reported $0.54 to $0.56 estimated earnings per share for next quarter (fiscal third quarter), well under the anticipated $0.70 a share. Revenue expectations are lower too, with $452.6 million expected, but the company projecting $406 to $416 million.

Need To Get There Before You Leave? Tesla Solves It

Stock Tickers

Tesla's (TSLA) Model S P100D may not be able to actually change your three dimensional space time continuum, but in a fourth dimension, it just might. Motor Trend is reporting the S cracked through the event horizon at a blistering 0 to 60 in 2.275507139 seconds. Motor Trend says it's the fastest production vehicle they've tested to date. Motor Trend isn't reporting the electrons powering the motors are moving faster than the speed of light, and I don't think Tesla is neither, but one has to wonder if this game changing electro-bullet is knocking down more barriers than reported.

Your Cellphone Could Be The Gateway Hackers Use To Gain Access to Your Gmail

Symantec recently posted a warning for users of Gmail (GOOG) Outlook (MSFT), and Yahoo (YHOO) that they're targets for a new strategy by thieves to gain access to email accounts. Symantec also made a YouTube video describing the hacker's process. Don't let your account become victimized and never forget that people are usually the weak link in computer security.

It goes something like this (using Gmail as the example):

Once a hacker knows your email address and cell phone number, they go to Google to sign in and click "Need help?"

The Funniest Edward Snowden Interview You May Ever See

Edward Snowden's face while being interviewed by John Oliver in Moscow

Stock Tickers

Edward Snowden, love him or hate him, John Oliver does a good (albeit funny and not child appropriate due to language) job of explaining what the NSA and other dark agencies are able to do and have done.

Americans value their privacy, and yet, maybe they only think they do. One has to wonder how many actually take the time to become informed and does it matter? Knowing what the government does, and being able to do something about it is two very different things. There's also the lingering question of how much did the revelations hamper the government's ability to collect useful information. Of course, even the term "useful information" can be subjective when placed into the context of the empire's priorities.
